<p>So here is the Electrical Junior Engineer Job Description :</p>
<p>As Junior Engineer, performs duties and responsibilities of an Operations Principal Engineer who is responsible for the operation of control room switches and equipment to effect proper conditions in transmission and distribution of power in major substations, including but not limited to the following:</p>
<p>a)    Executes and supervises the operation of control devices and high voltage equipments in the transmission and distribution of 230KV electric power to substations and power plants.</p>
<p>b)    Ensures that standard operating procedures are followed as load dispatcher for safe, efficient and optimal continued operation of power in the Luzon Grid.</p>
<p>c)    Checks/reviews the accuracy of the daily operating log, operating/change orders and analyzes the same.  Recommends ways and means to the Superintendent-A in optimizing operation.  Coordinates with the Line Foreman/Line Crew in switching operation during the outages.  Provides information to Technical Services Group and assists in troubleshooting/repair works.</p>
<p>d)    Performs periodic ocular inspections, repair and testing of all substation equipments and makes report accordingly.</p>
<p>e)    Preparation of monthly power billings, enercon reports and monthly/quarterly/semi-annual/annual operational reports.  Assists in the preparation of work orders, monthly operating expenses, budget and load forecasts.</p>
<p>Preparation of designs for lighting and power plans, specification of breaker sizes and over current protections with the use of all applicable codes and standards.</p>
